COPADEL produces and markets both products from conventional agriculture and also has a 100% organic production sector respectful of French standards. In addition, all the producers we distribute are GLOBALGAP certified.

History of the enterprise

The company COPADEL specializing in shipping fruits and vegetables was established in 1993 by Mr. Claude BOSSU. It is then located on the M.I.N Châteaurenard. The company receives, processes and markets processed fruit and vegetables only on the French market.

In the early years, the company is experiencing significant growth in the domestic market. Claude BOSSU then decided in 1997 to create an export department. COPADEL moved to new premises in order to consolidate its development.

The success was the rendezvous, the company continues to grow, and in 1999, it expanded into the industrial area Barret, through the purchase of an air-conditioned warehouse of 2500 square meters, equipped with the necessary technologies for packaging and preserving fruits and vegetables.

In 2000, the company implements a quality and traceability program based on HACCP to ensure its customers with controlled products.

The years 2003-2005 were marked by further increases in the French market through the addition of new customers (factories 4th range) as for export, with the opening of the Northern European markets and Scandinavian countries.

The year 2009 saw the acquisition of the company Vergers du Luberon to Cabrière Aigues.
